When the barcode scanner suddenly fails to scan, and the scanner cannot scan the barcode, you must first understand this situation clearly. Can you scan the barcode but not upload it, or emit the laser but not scan the barcode? If you can scan the barcode but not upload it to the computer, it means that the computer is not connected to the scanner. If it is wired, you need to check the port and cable. If it is wireless, you need to reset the paired receiver.
There may also be several possible reasons:
1. The function of reading this barcode is not enabled;
2. The barcode does not meet the specifications, such as the lack of necessary blank space, the contrast between the bar and the space is too low, and the width ratio of the bar and the space is not appropriate;
3. Direct sunlight, the photosensitive device enters the saturation zone;
4. The surface of the barcode is covered with a transparent material, which is too reflective. Although the barcode can be seen by the eyes, the reading conditions of the collector are strict and cannot be read.
